Boston, Massachusetts – Dumbest city … ever.

Or at least it seems to house some of the dumbest people ever. The first on that list would probably have to be Howie Carr. What a tool.

The only exception to the Mass-holes would have to be Tom and Ray Magliozzi – they are cool.

Howie has written a poor excuse for News & Opinion journalism titled “Joke’s on terror-slacker scare ‘Borat’ now.”

Howie, I like ATHF, I’m gainfully employed, I don’t live with my mom, I don’t wear a baseball cap, and I don’t have any tattoos. I’m sorry that pop culture and technology is over your head and most of the Boston public. But don’t over-hype a threat and then get upset at some else because you’re spreading fear and panic.

Howie has a radio show on WRKO, which has a poll labeled “What should happen to the Belarusse gorilla graphic artist who put up the hoax devices in Boston?”

There are four radio buttons where 1=Jail, 2=Deportation, 3=First Jail then deportation, 4=Nothing

With about a minute worth of Perl, I wrote a script that submits 4 to the poll. Sweet.

Tome Menino, the mayor of Boston, said “It is outrageous, in a post 9/11 world, that a company would use this type of marketing scheme.” Perhaps it is you that is keeping this country in a post 9/11 mindset. Move on.

Deval Patrick, governor of Massachusetts, said “It’s a hoax – and it’s not funny.” It’s sure funny for the rest of us who think that your state is now the laughing stock of the country.

Seattle police spokesman Sean Whitcomb said “We haven’t had any calls to 911 regarding this” the ATHF viral ads – which have been up for about three weeks now.
